Christmas Morning Sunrise (2011) over the Mississippi Gulf Coast
I am blessed with a Medical Courier subcontract. Sometimes it is tough to be wakened in the wee hours of the morning, holidays and weekends. But, immediately following a self absorbed type of thought comes remembrance that veterans also worked holidays, weekends and encountered danger on our behalf and that of other nations. It comes to mind quickly that what may be a temporary, minor inconvenience to me is linked to a family with a loved one in a life and death situation. It also comes to mind that I am compensated for taking care of this client at a time when many others have no visible sources of income.
